Today we are faced with the moral as well as the philosophical developments within the Education system. We as professional teachers must bring a level or moral development to the classroom as well as the the ability to adapt with the changing times both in society but also within the educational system. A teacher is faced with many different factors to be an effective teacher; determining their teaching style, I myself took a survey which I showed a higher level of essentialism (23 points) within Information Processing and Perennialism coming in second with (19 points) and third coming in at (18points) Behaviorism.
I think it is important to know that not one belief system is required in order to be an effective teacher. One would need to have a little of everything in order to be the best teacher they could possibly be. In fact, a teacher that is a collage of all of these beliefs would be the most sought after teacher possible. Even though Progressivism, Cognitivism, and Humanism, fell towards the bottom of the list, nothing was less than (10 points) therefore one could objectively state that everyone has a little bit of everything in their teaching beliefs, just depends on how you manifest yourself in front of the classroom.
